Default Chipping a diesel, any good?

Just got a Fiat Marea estate 2.4TD and really impressed with it, sounds great when you boot it (I have owned a scoob turbo), great gearbox and feels well put together.

would a chip do any harm?

know any sites selling them?

what about an air filter?

am i being silly?

Superchip claim a 30bhp gain for your car, sounds good to me

I would crash it into a tree, it will be more than chipped then no seriously I also am a big diesel fan and was told just after i sold my landrover discovery that i could have easily had it modified for very little money inc a larger intercooler and a turbo mod good luck whatever you decide

i had a mercedes a-class turbo diesel superchipped and it made a big difference, it was a lot smoother running with better power delivery and MPG stayed about the same.

Superchip very good (A4 TDI130) but make sure fitters know what they're at. Mine had a few probs with the AFR after chipping. However +30bhp ++torque. Feels like diff car.

I'd strongly recomend Upsolute (particularly over Superchips).

See HERE for your car.

Less than £300 too. Bargain. And don't assume cheap = crap.
