Lead time / revisions on 911 c2

I think its around a year - although if you are flexible on colour & spec then you could get one immediate.
The 997 is out in September which will feature lots of changes.
My advise ise to wait until the end of the year - 996 prices will suffer as the new model is launched - its already happening now.

Yes, 997 due later this year. Bear in mind there is a 12-14 month waiting list, so the earliest you will see one is 2006.
The 997 is supposed to be a fair bit more expensive than the current 996, and a Boxter coupe (or something similar) will fill the gap.

It's a grand deposit and lead time is 18 months for the C2 the dealer couldn't confirm any lead tims on the other variants. Apparently Porsche are reducing the number of 997's manufactured each year to keep the brand in luxury status.
Still ordered one though.
