Question

My mum is after another celica after accidentally buying a Primera

This will be her 4th Celica if all goes well

Just wondering if anyone has any views on the current models...mainly the 190Bhp version as that's what are currently looking at (we'll finalise the deal on sunday), and the last one we had was the old (bubbly) shape.

Ta in advance

nice car, very well built, engine good if a little peaky. Less peaky than a v-tec though. it's like having two engines

as with all celicas, it'll last forever.

I ain't an owner but i drove one for 60-70 miles.

You can't go wrong with a Toyota

Interesting article here http://www.teamcelica.com/tech/installs/liftbolts/

If you want anyone to ever use the rear seats, forget it. Unless they are very small, or have no legs

Nice car though

Thanks.

Car has another years warrantee on it. But seeing it's a TSB would Toyota do under warrantee or is it a wait till it expires and have a tinker job?

No changes with the rear seats then

I think you'd have a good case to get Toyota to change them for you. Especially if you are about to buy, you could get it done before picking the car up and get them to check and change as a goodwill type gesture.

I'm 6'1" and when me and a mate sat in the back I couldn't even sit haunched very well. After thinking about the Celica seriously, have now been more tempted with the MR2 but nothing is definite yet

Love the front part of the interior of the Celica though, and the looks are good If you get leather, then unfortunately you get leather look vinyl in the back which is a bit 70s If they'd tweaked a couple of bits (rear headroom, full leather) then it would have been a much better car IMHO

If your mum likes them though then she should get one Just mention the TSB for peace of mind

As of today, we now have a Celica ...

Well, not 'till the payments sorted.
