Does anyone know how to do this? It really annoys the hell out of me.

In an automatic you used to be able to put the gearstick in reverse whilst doing more than 20mph and it would get get diabled. But how do you do it in a manual?

Unplug an ABS sender possibly? I don't know why you'd want to do this, my experience is it can majorly fix overcooked entry and subsequent understeer.

If you're asking about TC not ESP then thats a different request and apparently its not too difficult to fit a switch as per latest GSi turbo.

Have a look at astra-sport.co.uk if you're still waiting for a solution.

Yeah - I've got the 2.2 Coupe. Really it's just the traction control I want to turn off. The car manual actually mentions a button to press by the gear lever to turn on/off (but the button doesn't exist in my car).

Craig says you cannot turn it off, but a company called Reagal do a kit where as you can fit a switch to by pass it.
Hope this helps, Is it a 2.2 or a 2.0?
Cheers

Oh well, never mind. It's a company car so that option is out the window Thanks anyway.

It's a 2.2. Bit peeved though that I didn't get the spolier and 17" wheels that are on the current model-year. They must have got my car from stock.
