I love the 944 and it was one of my dream cars as a teen!

Tiff Needell's piece the other week made me fall for them all over again, you lucky git!

Really like the look of the Boxster alloys (thats at least what i think they are) on the "old" one

Nice car Daveyboy!!

I rejoined you Porsche People the other weekend with my 3rd (and last) 911. It's a 3.2 and one of the very last registered on a G plate.

It took a while to get 'round to a 911 again. I had a long serious look at an Elise S2, but I can't get 911's out of my system! Like you with 944's

Looks nice So how does an S2 compare to a Turbo then? I assume the S2 is a bit less exciting but maybe easier to live with as an everyday car.

Red face

The truth is.......

I was contacted by a Swedish guy who wanted to race the car in the Swedish Porsche championship. I was asked to veiw the car and make sure everything was OK, and if it was OK, then to buy it.

Now the Swedish guy has bought a car he has never seen off someone he has never met! So unfortunately it is not going to be my car for very long

"Yes-yes...I was smoking my pipe in my study on a Sunday afternoon, I was feeling rather uninspired, so I thought I'd invest another few thounsand english pounds on a peice of 80's German engineering just to settle my few moments lacking of excitement on a sunday afternoon, although that money could feed several families in the 3rd world or make a considerable contribution to charities around the world, eeeeeh but let's not go into that subject for the time being. I of course now am the pround owner of two Pors'che 944's. Well Right-O!, it is time to put on my driving gloves again, ta ta chaps."
