Are they all japanese imports or were there any uk models made and how are they recognised as a uk spec!!!!

there were uk spec ones too so not all are imports,
easy to tell as the imports hat sqaure no plates especially the square cutout at the back bumper,
specs can be different too but the uk specs car are getting abit thin whilst there are plenty of imports around

UK car will have little rubber extensions on the front spoiler, Jap import doesnt.
