Hi guys,
Thinking of getting an early GTO Twin Turbo - around a J plate, just wondering if any1 has or had one? what are they like in comparison to a 93/94 WRX by means of performance/reliability/drive and value, common faults??
.... Oh its a manual that i'm after...

Thanks in advance.
Raf

So a 320bhp twin turbo monster is no match for a 208bhp WRX?

ok.

They are nice cars (especially in the looks) but wont set any pants on fire in the driving department - despite their appearance i'd say they were more of a grand tourer ala XK8 rival than a sportscar ala 911, but if thats what you are looking for then its ideal! If not and you still want something as rare and japanese, try a supra tt or RX7, all around the same price.

no such car as a 208bhp WRX. UK turbo's had 208... I need to get out more...

Much quicker than an impreza turbo. A WRX (import) would be quicker but has a similar power output (240 vs 280) and is half the size.

Good cars, handle well go well. The car does do a lot for you but with the roads as they are today maybe not such a bad thing.

They had a facelift in 94 and look much better IMO.
