Hi Peeps

i would just like to say that a RWD Rs500 belonging to Bruce Read did brake the 190mph barrier a speed of 191.6 mph...i know you lot hate the cossies so i just thought i would let you lot know...

not only that Kevin Sharps Escort Cossie 0-6... 2.9 secs, 0-100 6.3 secs...top speed 178mph ....1/4 mile 10.8 @ 134.5 mph

who said cossies are ****e ....

much though Im not a fan of the dagenham dustbins, respect where its due......thats one damn fast car.......would like to see it on Rev Bobs torque show or something, that would wipe the smile of some of the nova drivers faces

hey marco you didnt pay me for the cup of tea

i was well please with my escorts times yeserday other than the top speed it had a bad misfire at 7k rpm which we were unable to fix and it was pulling that at just over halfway up the runway

Yes, its a pity Ford don't do that stuff any more! They went *** and we only have the VERY Gay ST 170 and that Toque steering disater the RS.

Mine you, we will next year have the RS230 Based on the New Focus and soon after a new +300 BHP 4 wheel drive Cosworth !!!!

Till than i will stick with Honda.

cossie@ste looking at yer previous engine pikky i think i have spotted a problem which may explain why the liner was quicker.
It looks like it's slightly bent & folded down the middle sort that out & ot'll be damn quick impressive stats there thou no doubt

mine is around 575bhp

the times for a mclaren f1 are 0-60 in 3.3 sec 0-100in 6.3sec and 1/4 mile in 11.1

so my 2.9 to 60 and 10.7 on the 1/4 isnt bad for an escort
