good site for mpg figures ?

A real world figure from 9300 miles in my Passat PD130: average of 48.5mpg from brand new
It gives typically 42-45mpg in urban / town driving and 55mpg at an 85mph m/way cruise.
Don't have figures on me but I remember this is better than either the Renault or Vauxhall diesels, and the performance is better too.

The government website is quite good www.vca.gov.uk
To search for a particular car go here http://www.vcacarfueldata.org.uk/search_form_basic.asp
You can download all the data in an Excel format for searching - it even gives an estimated fuel cost for 6000 miles!
If you struggle I can email you an edited version of the data for easier searching.
Cheers
Mick
