Hi all,

Anyone know what the differences are between the current Civic Type R and the all new (?!?) 2004 Civic Type R ?

Might be tempted to get one as a company car and save a bit of money

Cheers

Matt

  • Lighter flywheel and clutch assembly. 0.2 secs off the 0-62 mph time (now 6.6 sec).
  • New brake callipers that incorporate the Type-R logo (formerly only on JDM).
  • Door mirror-mounted indicators.
  • Front spoiler similar to that on Sport models.
  • New front bumper.
  • Three light, blue projector style headlamps.
  • Red seat inserts and door panels.
  • New rear lights.
  • Its minging.
  • The old model is much better looking
  • IMO of course

Will have to pop down to the dealer to get one for a day, and see how they have improved the steering!!!

They were not too happy that I critised a few aspects, sales man didnt even know what an LSD was.

Putting 215 Toyo Proxes on mine sorted the steering problem for me.

The Bridgestones pulled me all over the road, the drive with the Toyos is straight as a die.
