BMW 'M' Coupe

Fast as ****, look mad, hairy to drive. I want one! Go for the later model with the current M3 motor (albeit mildly detuned) and traction control if you can....
In my opinion, about as cool as BMWs get, and I currently have two of the damn things (M3 evo, BMW 730i [for sale!!! ])

Totally awesome acceleration. The only problem is that they`ve appeared to have hit a plateau value wise compared to the ZM roadster. I`ve found a 98 S reg with 40,000 miles on for 21,500 complete with the Harman Kardon Hi-Fi and I`m very tempted

The only BMW that suggests the company has a sense of humour !
Deeply cool and different which is not something you can say about most BMW's, its the only current BMW that says that you must be an enthusiast.
BMW need to repeat the exercise with the Z4.

Cool car. Bonkers fast, looks wierd, turns heads. Ignore the myth about bad handling. Yes is wet, greasy conditions you need to have a gentle right foot but not more so than any car RWD car that has fat tyres and 300 plus gee gees. The only real difference between 321 and 325 BHP cars is DSC which most drivers turn off in the dry as it's over cautious, no one I've met can tell the difference performance wise.
As for being afraid...nah!

Hi
a very good mate of mine has a Z3 M Coupe it's totally bonkers. I've driven it quite a few times & i love it. The **** end is so easy to swing out, pefect for those crazy roundabout moments when you just feel like having it sideways
My step dad has just bought a 6 month old M3 Coupe, silver with blk tints etc. Think he's going through a mid life crisis:s, or so my mother says anyways:P I havn't had the pleasure of drivining it yet altho i'm sure it won't be long

i have a 2002 model with 325bhp and dsc, what can i say that has not been said already its a truly amazing car, totally a one off supercar. Think about it you can pick a second hand one up for around £20k you get 321bhp 0-60 in 4.3sec [evo mag tested] hits 170mhp [they all seem to be derstricted] get bmw reliability cost only £400 per year to maintain the warrenty, and get one of the best engines to play around with.
Oh yes and they have seem to have hit rock bottom prices now, in fact i can only see them going up in value as only recently they have become cult car.

I had one and i miss it dearly. Had a nearly new 325bhp model with ac schnitzer suspension kit. Looked very moody in black which is deffinately the colour to have on in.
I sold it to fund my M5 and i took abit of a hit on it but now the prices have bottomed out and i can only see them getting better as this car is a surefire classic!
Very tempted to get another but i just cant justufy runnig three performance cars. Gutted!
