got to do a 500 mile round trip at the weekend and am not sure whether to tak the Mini or the Scoob.

I typically get 220 miles out of a tank on the Scoob but my wife gets around 230 out of her Cooper S. Both are filled up with Optimax and even though the fuel tanks are different in size, it only comes down to a couple of quid difference for a full tank.

What's the best motorway MPG and range you guys are getting out of your Mini's?

Phil

I recommend the bus as all the train lines are broken.

I get around 230 too usually, once I got 180 (20MPG) but on a motorway trip I have managed 290 (34MPG)

Depends how you drive it, If you try and keep it under 2-3K RPM it's not bad at all.

But then again, I can't manage to keep it under 3!
