I had my motor set up at motorsport developments last month.
I had a set of blue silicone Mega-Leads. Stu said they were droppinng Kv's after 4000rpm. He put on a set of the blue ford motorsport HT leads in question. ( this was an RST not a cossie btw, but I dont think it matters)

I run them, seem ok to me,but i can actually confirm they aint motorsport leads as such and the std jobbies are actually better quality..

PS what Karl says means not alot really as all engines work better on different combinations!Like my engine hates NGK 9's but loves the cheapo AGP071's...BUT my old 330 build hated the 071 but loved the AGP701!!!
PPS also i dont recommend std head bolts on a 450plus BHP engine...i can confirm that as my RS500 block has cracked around 4 bolt holes.....it appears the ARP's would have been a better bet after all....thats what happens when you listen to people who quote but have no experience....LOL...Anyhow..got me a long studded 200 block..

Stuuu, as you mr mapping your the one to ask this to.
For my new car, whats a decent but fair priced aftermarket managment so i can junk the airflow meters?
Dont need to do nothing that fancy like ALS or NOS or W.I. jus handle big injectors with no problem, on a turbo straight 6 with coilpacks, and be live mapped.
Pectel T6? Esp as can get hold of second hand T6s without too much aggro...

Hi,
I personally have had no problems so far with the 909 leads. However, they are technically inferior to the original leads but then, you get what you pay for. 909's are £80, Ford are maybe Double that.
The lead is 2 piece and as such, if you r worried, solder the two connections together, end of problem.
The above comment is aimed at the 2wd leads and not the cat model cossie or Rsturbo 909's.
Steve,
Didnt know ya had a new car mate but you already know my answer im sure.... Pectel T-Sex.. Erm.. T-6
Sounds like a Skyline to me though

Steve if you want to run an aftermearket management withtout air flow meters then use HKS F-CON-V PRO why pay out for expensive pectel T6 and not only that will you get a pectel loom to fit a skyline ?

Aye Stoo, i jus bought a rather purrdy R32GTR With some lovely Nismo and Trust body n engine bits (and 9x17 splitrims with 255 tyres all round! )
Deano, u reckon F CON is the cheap option? From what i can see it was the expensive option just to have a nice jap tuner name on the car.
I can get hold of a s/h T-Sex for well under 1k, and if needs a different loom i could get that made up for a respectable price i think (would it need a new loom? im drunk off my *** at mo os i duno), me needs to do some sums...

jesus, i dont even remember going on the PC!
Jus a point over what i said, duno if itd complicate things, but think the ATTESA system takes inputs from the engine managment dont it? Stu knows the crack tho i think from helping martoon n shonky out with their liner boxes n centre diffs.

yes steve ECU sends signals to all the sensors , also did you know having a car run in MPH actually slows the ecus signal to these sensors aswell , only found this out when i changed the clocks in my old GTR to nismo items and wanted Rod Bell to change them to MPH
Also you can get an Apexi PFC to run without airflow meters and with the hand controller you could adjust everything you wanted without going near the ecu its self hell yu could even map it yourself if you knew what you were doing from the hand held controller .

you can buy race fuel with rating upto 117 ron i think its called ELF turbo fuel .
Yes you can buy it from specialist output but at something like £4+ per litre it cost you over £200 to fill your car up ( there are lesser ron alternatives like 76 " cool blue " 106 ron and costs £39 for a ten litre drum
