well this was a guy driving it and to be honest i dont think much of the new evo8's as they dont have that jesus christ its gonna eat me look that the 5 and 6 had

Madjay, I agree with you, I had a 5 and think the 8 is such a dissapointment, looks wise.

Like my STi more than the 8 I test drove.

Not all about the looks is it...or i would have not have even considered an evo or a scooby...probably gone for a proper looking sports car like a lotus or 911.

If nobody knew about the evo VII and I drove it down the street all people would do is laff at the spoiler. But because people know about how fast it is, you get loads of looks from people and comments about how nice the car is.

I agree the VII and VIII evos do look kak compared to all previous evos, but to be honest they are better cars to drive and lap times speak for themselves.

People buy evos for the way the accelerate and handle not for the looks. If you say you are buying for the looks, I think what you are doing is associating the looks with the performance you know the car has. If from day 1 the scooby or evo was a 90bhp S**T slow car you would think it looked S**T, and steer well clear of them...they would never look good...they would be a moror industry joke. Instead of a very well respected "practical" super car.

Some cars look the biz wheter they are fast or not. Some cars look good because people know they are fast.

Example...I think the metro 6r4 looks the biz...but to be honest it it F**K ugly and I just like the idea of what it can do. Now put the same body kit on a nova or something, and I think it looks kak.

To conclude the VII is no looker, but then again I think none of the scoobies, or evos are...but they all drive so well that you want one.
