We're all car enthusiasts no matter what we drive.
It is a real shame when someone's pride and joy goes wrong

Had a play with them on the Kendal bypass this afternoon. Both pulled out on to the M6 J36 heading south. I progressed to the outside lane. Cosworth tries to keep up and...........boom lots of white smoke out the back, hazards on and limp onto the hard sholder.
Shame looked like a nice motor.

Damn shame actually, Ezzys are one of my fave cars. As said, they can get it fixed and probably modded to put a scooby to shame for the price of a packet of peanuts. Glad there were no injuries or anything nasty happened due to loss of engine.

Of course it wouldn't. Duh!
Are you trying to tell me that when some "have a go" nutter tries to keep up in his car and it goes pop you wouldn't find that the least bit funny? If he were a mate of mine then of course I wouldn't laugh and I would do all I could to help him. But this was just comical.

Nice. Laughing at others' misfortunes...
Nothing funny about seeing someone's pride and joy screwed, and the driver having to fork out big time.
The comment about us all being like minded etc etc says it all I think.

Hardly a likely scenario is it? (make of that what you will...I'm aware of how cosworths perform)
Personally I wouldn't bother screwing my car to the n'th degree merely in order to win some road race. That being the case I'd say the Cosworth driver got what he deserved in this case. I'd say the same had he been driving an Impreza or whatever.
As for finding it amusing you have to say that there is already some level of animosity between 2 drivers "racing" on a public road. I can understand but not condone it.

Stupid for sure......as for racing on the public roads not really, I've done a few standing starts from the peage booth and surprised the owners of a few "faster" cars than mine. However I prefer to do my actual "racing" on the track.
I hope you carry on "racing", you'll soon be the proud owner of a driving ban to go with your nice old ford.

Last time car was on the road i did more miles on the track than on public highways, i don't pretend not to drive fast on the roads like some people, i aint had any points, ever in 13 years of driving.
So please spare this kinda negative comments.....
