Any turbocharged Impreza should have one of those, as my brother knows to his cost.

Not suprised really, they're only 1.8's and don't have the same sort of torque as a scooby, the 20v is the gutsiest motor around.

Wink

Used to have one. There's no way it could out run a standard MY01 WRX let alone a classic or sti. They are quick though and for the money are an absolute bargain.

Be careful out there though, some have been chipped to 225bhp easily and a few up to 260ish, so traffic light drags are much much closer

Must have said "20V" then, which is non-turbo.

You big bully!

they don't make a 2 litre 20v

Must have been either a 1.8 20v (125bhp) or an unchipped turbo (180bhp)

If it was a Chipped Cupra it would produce around 240 lbs of torque and 210-225 bhp

If it was Cupra R (S3 Engine) Bigger k04 turbo etc chipped 270 bhp and upto 300 lbs torque (depending which tuner u use)

More than enough to give many other performance cars a run for their money

Sorry - that's what I meant.

You must have read "20V" as "2.0" (?)

They ain't bad - got one as my company car, but hurts the back a bit cos the seats are a little spongey.

Good off the lights though and what a bargain for the cash, just a little gutless when it comes to motorway work (particulary in 6th).
