I went to Elvington today and was lucky enough to blag in a ride in one of these!
I'm not sure if it's the one in the pic or not....I went in a black one but it's been about a bit! It was used on Top Gear, Tiff and VBH drove it and it set the world record for 0 - 60, 2.8 seconds!!!!!
The guy took me out in it, we pulled away gently, built up the revs...I've been in quick cars before, Mellow / POC's westie being one and you get the feeling don't you...not in this, it doesn't feel that special, once you've got over the noise of two ZX12R engines anyway
Then he just buried the throttle, **** ME!!!!!!!! I still can't get mi head round it! There was no lurching like an ordinary car, it just went and cos it uses the bike gearboxes it just keeps going and going and going.....
120mph was on the clock in no time, then the brakes came on, **** ME, it was the same feeling as the acceleration but the other way round!
Anyhoo, a friend of a friend has done a deal on it, trackdays here we come
