I'm "possibly" getting out of the subaru scene, money related really. Its great and all that but I'll cry when someone buys it, but I need to start saving money.

Anyway, i'm after peoples thoughts on a scooby sized (dont want to go back to hatch back), needs to be well equipped and comfortable but most of all cheap to run and economical, so either a decent petrol or a nice diesel. Doesnt have to be quick quick but needs to be able to cruise at a nice speed without too much problem and do 60 in less than 10 cos otherwise i'll fall to sleep!

Looking 2nd hand but fairly new and low mileage, badge doesnt bother me and around 6-8k

looks like i'm only going to get 10k for my new MY99 uk turbo with toys

No you don't want to but you have more choice if you go for a hatch.

as for hatches, i'm on the motorway every morning to work and coming from a fiesta to a scooby i'm just so in love with cruising in comfort and feeling safe and big!
