Quattro is a legend & will always be as great car & not many around
Scoob due to the number of tatty examples around & now falling into the Max Power/boy racer market is a dying legend
It has to be the Quatro

There was a magazine article a few years back (1999 I think) that pitted the following cars against each other:-
Scooby (Std UK I think)
Escort Cosworth
Lancia Delta Integrale (don't remember the variant)
Audi Quattro (one of the originals I think)
Nissan Skyline (whatever the current variant was at the time)
They threw in some Welsh road and decided that the Scoob, Integrale and Audi were pretty evenly matched for real world A to B stuff. They didn't like the Skyline that much on this terrain and felt the Escort was too out of it's depth in the company of the other three.
Anyway the upshot was they chose the Scoob by the smallest of margins which if you think of the difference in terms of when each was developed puts the Audi in a very good light.
Of course this was a magazine article and therefore is only an opinion, but it's interesting nonetheless.
Regards,
tiggers.

I drove my 20V quattro in this morning, nice and early so opened her up a bit!! The quattro is standard and to be honest it feels a bit soft and slow compared to my 330bhp STI RA scooby, on a windy A road the scoob would be a lot quicker on the straights and the bends!
Still love the Audi though!!

My reasoning for owning a quattro is simple.
How many Scooby's have you seen on the road today?
How many quattro's have you seen on the road today?
Scoobys are great cars and undoubtedly the quattro's spiritual successor but I'll stick with my quattro thanks.

How much are you having to pay for a Full History MINT example these days??
Considering an Integra Type-R, I know these drive completely differently but would I be able to pick up a late 20v Quattro (in the above condition) for around the 10k mark??
Also I know the ITR will be pretty much bombproof reliability, but are the Audi's fragile?? It will be used pretty much daily but only for 10 miles and a mixture of town and open road driving, how will it cope??
Cheers,
Grant

modified correctly- with uprated brakes, shocks and engine chip, the 20v Q will stay with Impreza's and Evo's on just about all public roads. The gentlemen from Dynalinx do this all the time.

I like all the old classics like the Quattro, Integrale Evo, im into anything really that has a Rally pedigree! You can forgive the bland 80`s and early to middle 90`s interiors you get with them as the engine notes make up for that in a big way! Ive heard them scoobies aint too bad either lol.
