Well, had an update on my car. Its here, converted, serviced, tyres changed etc all done, basically ready.

But the DVLA [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] are being **** and won't let them reg it until 1 Aug Something to do with reg dates/10 years/SVA or something.

So that means it has to sit in a corner waiting until 1 Aug

I'll miss JAE

Gutted.

Yup

I got to test drive one when Neil was out looking...and the auto is superb! ( Sorry Neil, perhaps I should shut the **** up instead of saying how great it is!)

There she is Its an auto - fed up with sitting in traffic with the clutch work etc - can't wait to drive a car I don't have to do that with in the rush hour

Nice Just a shame and pain in the **** that you have such a wait Why do you have to wait so long though? What is the problem with the dates all about?

Its to do with the 10 year rule. After a car is over 10 it only needs an MOT to be registered. Under 10 years it needs the SVA test and I guess the garage are waiting to go with the MOT only route....



Chris, already got it - its the car thats the question?
If the worst comes to the worst he said he can register it and I can drive it away on Aug 1st exactly so only just in time for AT, by 1 night
