Had a play with one of these last night, quick little cars, i looked up the stats on them and it says they are 3.0 V6's, is this right...
I thought that the V6 only came in the clio with the fat bodykit on...!!!

If it was the V6 believe me you'd know. Its the fattests meanest looking car on the road. If it looked anything like a normal hot-hatch then it would have been a normal 172 or a cup if it has multi-spoke alloys

Yeah mate it had multispokes..
Are these things competition for a Sccob then, i certainly had to try hard to keep up...!!!
I know the 172's are 172 brake so waht are the cups's...???
Cheers,

This is my 275bhp classic scooby against one from a rolling start. I've not actually seen the video yet but you should see me struggle to get past until into 4th gear at 90mph.
Its taken from the 'now thats more like it thread' a few threads down
A cup is a real match for standard UK scoobys from a rolling start and would probably pull away from a bugeye

The 172 has a 2.0 litre 4cyl engine...
Its weighs **** all so the PWR is pretty good...
0-60 is between 6.6 secs and around 7.2 depending on the age and exact model... I'd rather have a Scoob meself... much more solid motor than that tinny French thing...

came off a mway roundabout onto the mway earlier and had a clio sport in front of me.
on the roundabout he toed it and so i did the same and he went round bend onto the slip road and onto the mway in a nippy little style. he gave me space to go past at the bottom of the hill but i had to go down a gear at the top of the slip road to have a proper go.

(ps, we both backed off as we got onto the mway before the speeds went over 80, no harm done)
