Reading the thread about the RS and 4x4 Octavia, I did a hunt around for any similar cars and I came accross the Seat Toledo.
Don't laugh, this is serious! They have just launched a sport version with the 20v turbo unit under the bonnet. The car looks very boring but has the comfy/nice bits included (climate, 6 speed CD stacker etc) all for £15k list. Knowing how Seats depreciate that'll be £9k after a year
So I reckon a low miles, year old example with the 225BHP conversion could be alotta fun and very good VFM

Yeah, there is a report on this car in Autocar and it says that the driving experience is pretty average, so once you get the 225 conversion you should get a decent suspension/braking setup and I agree that you will have a nice wee car to have a play in!!
