Question

I cant seem to find out where its coming from, ive taken the plastic front grill off and checked to make sure that there are no rust spots there where it can come though (its plastic so no) but it still drips in down the middle of the passenger footwell (possably the drivers too but that could be me with wet shoes).
Anyone come across this before?
If its the sunroof i would have thought that it would have dripped all over the front seats????
Cheers in advance.

Tony

Had the same problem. It was something to do with a water filter related to the interior heating system. Apparently they now use a modified part.

Cheers

Most likely to be the pollen filter housing seal, we do loads of them @ work

park the wipers *up* the screen so you can get to the scuttle covers, remove the rubber strip, undo 2 0r 3 TX30 screws, flip up the little plastic caps that cover up the screws securing the scuttle covers, remove NS cover

unclip the top of the pollen filter housing and remove, this leaves you with the lower half, remove 2 13mm nuts and remove lower half.

replace seal and refitting is reverse than removal, as the good book says..

Maybe your heater matrix is leaking.

Red face

Definately not the windscreen, its only just started leaking and the screen has been in for years by the looks.
She's due a service in 2.5k anyway (4 weeks) but ill get this sorted sooner me thinks!
(the pollen seal sounds the most likely to me )

Tony might be the drainage channels for the sunroof, they get blocked and may need a clear-out.
Airline will do it or a long flexible bit of wire or else tyou need to remove the trim from the pillar betwixt the windscreen and the doorframe - if that makes sense.
