hi there got a 325i E36 and my tyres have come to an end.
had goodyear ventura on which have been great. i've been offered SP2000, NCT5, P6000 and the venturas all about £60 each fitted. what do you think i should get or any other suggestions? ps i don't want stunners..

I've had Pirelli's and Goodyears before, I don't like them personally, I couldn't comment on the others.

I've just knacked a set of BF Goodrich on the Fiesta, I thought they were gonna be crap when I got them, not really a branded name plus they were cheap! I was really surprised by them, really nice handling and reasonably hard wearing too! I'm getting booked in for another set!

cheers BOB.T. i had P6000 on a astra SRi thought they where the best tyres ever loads of grip and lasted v well. but i didn't like them on the beemer. thanx

swaying towards nct 5

Yokohama A539.

They are a very nice tyre, soft compound though, so will wear out pretty fast in comparison to some.

just ordered the GY F1 £142 4 2 fitted...getting fitted on Monday.
like the tyre test chart.

I've had A539's too, don't like them either! They made mine tramline allover the place, really scary under braking! I found them inconsistent too, one day they'd be really grippy, the next day, pants! I only got 5000 miles outta mine too To be fair though, when they were on form and on smooth tarmac they were good!

Too late now anyway
