Ok I'll admit I like it.
My current scoob replacement is an Alfa 156 with 165bhp. 0-62 is quoted the same as the ST170 at 8.2, the Alfa is a little quicker at the top end as its a bit more slippy.
On the road there is nothing in it, I have the Eibach/Bilstien sportpack and the ST170 handling is very good.
Anyway, he reckons his is loads faster so I put this together.

Carpet cleaner,
The point of this thread is the link not the car.
But,
Not a badge person myself so I can see the car for what it is and if your in the market for a warm small family car its not a bad choice. Best to buy nearly new as they are a bit expensie new.

But did you click on the link?
To be honest I expected the Focus ST170 to look and feel just like an upgraded 2.0 Zetec but I was suprised. the stance of the car makes it look a lot more agressive, the half leather seats are supportive and the ride and handling are excellent.
I wasn't expecting to like the ST170 but I did.
The car my workmate has bought has the Xenon lights, spoiler, ESP, sunroof, and some other options. Total price new would have been over £19000 which is crazy. He bought it as an ex demo for £14000 which s more like it.
I still prefer the Alfa but the point of the thread was to give every one a laugh with the link.
Funny Alfa and Focus link click here
Oh and you can see pictures of my Alfa on page 1 of this thread....

Oi... Whats wrong with it?
Coming from the scoob I would have had spoiler withdrawel without it.
Geniune Alfa BTCC spoiler as well £400. Must have seen me coming, I have since seen replica's for £175

crowt123,
No the body work is 1st class nowdays, no rust. Have you seen a rusty 156?
The mechanics are nearly there, the electrics have a way to go but aren't too bad.
Just don't mention the dealers.
