Are we talking E46 or E36?
Driven the E46 and a very nice car indeed, BMWs answer to AMG is you will! More comfortable than the M series but also less sporty with it!
You pays yer money you takes your choice!
Go for a drive you'll like it!
(ps it may be a good idea to import one from the continent as they are alot cheaper over there, but beware alpina options are very tempting and put porsche in the shade for cost!)
