I was thinking of getting an Escort as an everyday car, but then again I am a mere peasant compared to you it appears!!!

Seriously though, they are nice cars, very comfortable and waft along nicely, my mates Grandpa has got one...

They're only 3 or 4 grand at that age, and they're fecking fast.

Yep, get the MK.2 it is the pick of the bunch... it has the lot plus the slightly better suspension rates... 155mph... quietest model too! MK1s' were not quite such a good handling car and the MK3 onwards were not drivers cars and too soft... Mk2 only... trust me.

Yep defo mark 2 model so the showroom tells me. In gold too which is good for karma so my feng shui expert says. Never tested it to 150, but the power is there. At times I have to wind down the window to make sure that the engine is running. Got it for good money and I didn't fancy driving the scoob everyday (only for fun and the track). Decision made - go for it. As for the pimp tints, gotta have these. Don't want people seeing my tattooed right arm - they will all think that I am a triad or somat.
