my brother is currently looking to buy an A4 TDi
anyone know of anything to look out for or where i can get a guide...he wants something mayb a couple of yrs old at tops...
what model is worth getting, he's seen a 1.9TDi or the 2.5 version

if he wants one... make sure he has the sport model else its like driving around in a sofa.
I have the quattro which makes it better again, and the PD engines are easily uprated with a tuning box for aout 400 quid. Very relaible and built like a tank.
Not sure which is best... PD130, or the 2.5... depends on what you want. The 130 with a tuning box is easily quicker than most 2.0 petols once off the mark, do 550-600 miles on a tank (more if non quattro) and only need a service every 18-20000 miles.
