Cheers guys...

yup I had a rumble with a black 2 door Scooby( on a private test track of course)....neck and neck till about 100mph.....i was amazed at how ell my M3 kept up with it...and then..low and behold..I pulled away from him........then we both backed off as speeds were getting silly

M3 evo really is a formidable car...excellent acceleration , but handling not as secure as a scoobies.....this car is gonna take some learning....and that back end gets outta shape all too easily......scary stuff!

Moses.....good to hear from you !!Keep them emails coming!

Hi turboman!
Very nice cars, was wondering the difference in insurance from a scoob, I beleive mpg is about 25, very interested in getting one,
there are some real bargains out there at the mo,and more importantly whats it like to drive compared to say a standard myoo
has it got more wallop or not, if so have you been scooby spanking yet (on dual carriageways in the dry, lol)
The wife likes them too, which is a bonus!
Cheers taffyboyo.

Jeff

Still not sure, but went off the idea of a boxster-s, as my mates would laugh too much. (hairdresser's car, etc...)

Tempted by an E46 M3, but I can't bring myself to write the cheque! Pro'lly end up with a 325 / 330Ci Sport

taffyboyo - I had an MY00 dbm 4 door before the M3 EVO!!

Vxxx DCU

Awesome car - I put a PPP on it, full scoobysport, MP3 / CD player, aircon, 17" ProDrive Alloys, ProDrive suspension pack, etc...

Whoever got it, got a bargain (much like the M3 I'm selling now)

Dv, thanks for the info,
famous saying comes to mind (if you have to ask the price, you cant afford it)
I'll have to save up my dinner money for the next couple of months!
Its clearly the way to go,
cheers taffyboyo!

just go easy on the car turboman, the back end has its mood swings!

the E36 is a really nice car indeed, been there done that and doing it again, but this time its got to the the E46 M3 cab in Estoril Blue... or the M3 CSL!

Good advice there STi! The m3 evo certainlytakes some respecting...the back end can be pretty viscious ....scoobies can be driven quickly by anyone..but Im finding that the m3 is a bit more difficult / challenging.......

In all my years driving M3's I've never been caught out.

They're pretty easy to catch, and soon you'll master the tail slide in no time!
