ABT Sportsline, anyone used them?

Hi peeps!
While ive still got My A3 Tdi i was thinking of sending my motor to ABT for a lowering kit, should just firm it up a little, 30mm drop.
They also do remaps at 750 quid, but they have been authorised by audi to sell tuning gubbins and it wont effect the warrenty on any audi.
Now my local Audi dealer use a superchip guy that owns a 130Tdi like mine and its running 175bhp, 300ftlb torque for the lyyear with no probs, to have it superchiped will be 400 quid, lot cheaper, but will i be making a sacrifice just to save 350 quid?
Or should i send it to AMD etc for suspension and chipping?
Surely ABT must be the dogs danglies when it comes to audi's???

The mere fact that the manufacturer will allow tuning by an outside company and you still keep your warranty would be the biggest hint where to get the work done.
ABT are the dogs danglies, the DTM TT coupes are built by ABT amongst other things.....

Yep your probably right!
There should be an ABt catalogue on my doormat in the morning!
alot of audi dealers arent pushing the fact that theyve authorused ABt for tuning and bodykits, i just found out by chance!

AMD do work for some dealers as well
I bought an ABT front mounted intercooler about a year ago,
one of the few on the market for the Golf - They said it was a straight easy fit but it took AMD a day and half to make it fit.....when AMD enquired how they managed to call it an easy fit they said they based that on a tuners advice (starperformance in scotland) AMD called to ask them how they managed it and Star said oh sorry yeh it took us about 2 days......THANKS ABT - bloody thing cost me a fortune in labour
