thats cheap to run, has a bit of poke and is good on the motorways. Doesn't have to be a B road racer (have the S2000 for that! ), just something to keep the miles down on the Honda. Preferably something of decent size and cheap to insure (old enough to be 3rd party only but not so old that it'll be at the end of it's life). I'll probably buy at auction as that's where the best prices are.
So to sum up
Good on motorways - i.e. comfy
bit poky, gotta be a bit fun on the motorways
cheap to run/insure
Budget aroung £2k.

Lancia Thema, went from London to Lancaster in no time, and i wasn't even remotely tired. 2.0 16 valve, plenty of poke, loads of room,HUGE boot, plenty equipment, great handling for its size, different than the norm. If you want serious power go for the turbo, you won't regret it. The car never understeered while i was using it and i never showed mercy. Reliability was perfect and i had it for a total of 3000 hard miles.
Mine was a series 2 K-plater, i bought it for 500 quid with full MOT and 4-5 months tax and service history, car was starting every morning first time. BTW, the chassis is the same used for the Saab 9000.
