Always wanted one of these i think the official tuners where Samurai but may be wrong english derived engines perfected by the Japs, BMC type engines as per MG's, etc. rust a big problem!!, when i looked about 14 years ago i struggled to find one without rust/filler, ended up buying a nearly new Opel Manta GTE in the end, shame!

i've owned a number of 240 & 260 Z's over the years
got a 260Z convertible Samuri in the garage now (one of a handful in the UK)
...yes 'Samuri' is spelt without the 'a'...long story...but it was to do with Spike Anderson ..Mr Z in the UK for racing back in the 70's
they are great cars but can be total rust heaps
best to get one where the work has been done already ...costs a small fortune to buy a cheap one to 'do up'...don't recommend it ...been there done that ..got the t-shirt
the 240's are the best...light, fast, good handling etc
& amazingly the 240 has near 50-50 weight distribution
contact me if you want more info as this post could go on for pages !
