Jon maybe that should be thinned down further to the escort rs turbo and cosworth bbs?!
I used to own a fiesta rs turbo and was treated like a second class citizen! not to everyones taste but at 19 i loved it none the less. Even though i do own a cossie myself now your right about the comments pure drivel spouted by some(not all) and unless your in with the 'in crew' you might as well stick your head up your 'rs' and switch the monitor off!

It's no wonder Ford owners get such a bad name when so many Fast Ford owners ARE w**kers. Every other marque gets their fair share too though, so I guess it evens out!
The Fiesta RS Turbo was a great car and I even know someone who had TWO Escorts and preferred the Fiesta. More nimble, more chuckable, according to him. I'm not so sure about that myself - but it's not always the case that a car has to be faster to be more fun..

Jon....you sound very bitter!!!!I am a Cossie owner and only look down on RST's and FRST's as they are just bean cans..
But i do agree with your point...all cars like this attract *****..i mean look at me and most of Scoobynet......Actually being serious i have found that Subaru owners are the most stuck up and uncompassionate of all car badges!

Jon....you sound very bitter!!!!I am a Cossie owner and only look down on RST's and FRST's as they are just bean cans..
(although im sure bean cans don't rust quite as quick)

Well i could be competely wrong but im sure RS2000's were used in ralling but i don't think S2 RST's were, so then a RST isn't a RS either by that argument. I can't remember if late model RS2000's rallied but i think they did. I love the "its not a proper RS" brigade

The RSOC BBS is full of idiots. Most are the Max Power brigade that talk nonsense and get turned on by flamer kits and LED washer jets.
Despite being called the RS Owners Club, in recent years it's become the RS COSWORTH Owners Club or RS TURBO Owners Club and anyone that has an RS without a Cosworth engine or RS Turbo badge is treated like scum.
Maybe it's because most members can't afford a new car, so if you could still get a Ford Cosworth they would probably slag that off until they're available on Q plates for under £5k.
