Focus RS - What do you think?
#1
I keep seeing reports about the new Focus RS and mostly from Autocar magazine bowing sunshine up it's a**e!
Has anyone driven one? And if so what do they really think of it?
I have, but I'm keen to find out what other Scooby owners think.

auto express are spouting rubbish. Several of the cars have had faulty sensors.
Three quarters of all RS Focus' destined for the UK have now been presold so if you want one get an order down quick you will still have to wait a year though as this years entire production is sold.

I've driven one for a dew hundred miles, and it seemed to have an overboosting problem. It would boost to the edge of the red bit on the gauge then drop off quite a bit.
Fantastic brakes, seats, 18's as standard, amazing grip, but like everyones said its letdown is the diff on uneven roads. I didnt get a chance to try it in the wet.

The one I tried was flat as a fart. Nothing in 1st or 2nd, 3rd gear was better (probably due to getting full boost). It felt like a typical FWD car i.e steers from the front wheels whilst a 4wd feels like it steers from under your seat. Power wise it felt like a u.k scooby.
