You cant knock Mitsubishi. Plenty of scoob dealers are sh1te. IM are also well dodgy on a number of issues (paint for 1)

Ralliart supplied 5,6,7's have a manufacturers waranty.
Warrenders also supply waranties as well.

And out the box 95% of the 5,6,7 and no doubt 8's show 300+BHP when fitted with an aftermarket exhaust + filter. No need for a 2k PPP!

I also have to disagree the Evo looks far better than the new Impreza IMO (Currently own MY01 WRX), EVO is where my money is going next. Faster car, doesn't have tacky gold wheels, oh and its cheaper than the outgoing EVO 7.

chris, as you well know thats the UK spec cars that were rumoured to have less power (a la scooby )

Stock cars will have at least 280bhp and same fantastic basic engine as others...

Ex Ralliart/extreme cars do not have a manufacterers warranty, they cover the cars themselves(still a good warranty though).

Offical Evo V111 due in spring expect cheaper prices for Gsr spec,

They will be 280 bhp with 300 upgrade available.

Okay definitely mixed info here can some one who actually knows confirm these statements .


Fully UK spec Misti warranted car will have 230bhp

Imported cars/modified UK cars using non approved parts will not have a fully Misti warranty but could have 280+bhp

Cars modified by Misti using their upgrade kits/parts will retain their full UK warranty.

If the above are true then it sound exactly the same a Subaru to me EXCEPT Misti dealers will servcie and look after non UK spec cars.

Yes or No ???

First offical Uk cars will be 280 bhp,this car will be the same as grey imports but rumour has it will be cheaper than grey imports for same spec car, FQ upgrade available for £1500 taking it to 305bhp and still under offical mitsi warranty.

Euro spec 230/240 bhp middle of year.

Mitsubishi dealers will service Grey imports.
