That doesn't make sense.
The before pictures show a nice gleamy yellow car with different alloys.
The after pictures of it on the flatbed show a dented car, missing rear spoiler, with a smashed windscreen and what looks like the airbag exploded.
Surely if they confiscated the car, you wouldn't be able to kick in panels, swap alloys and take a spoiler off?

I think it is a hoax.
Firstly, Skyline GT-Ts aren't available in USA (no LHD Skylines). The only Skyline available there is the GT-R, & those are imported by grey importers. Very very few were sold as the prices are very high (due to conversion costs to meet local regs) & available only in RHD.
Secondly, notice another white car in the foreground? It's a RHD Nissan of some sort, without headlights. What is that car doing there?
I think the explanation is the car was involved in an accident, & was written off due to the very high cost of fixing it. It could also be the case that those cars belong to Nissan USA, & the GT-T was scrapped as it has been in the US for over 1 yr as a demonstrator.

i think you're right in part. There are no official skylines in the US at all. Motorex are the main importer, and whilst they mainly import GTR's, they will bring in GTT's (R34) and GTS-T's (R33) too.
There _are_ companies that do LHD conversions for skylines; although there are always questions over the safety of these conversions, and hence not sure whether you'd be able to run an LHS skyline in the US.
Noting the "Before" pictures, the GTT is sat next to a bayside blue GTR, thus leading us to believe that the car is probably at a skyline specialist and thus that is probably a knackered car being scrapped.
Scary thought though: can't drink til they're 21, get cars confiscated, allowed to own guns.
