My..Latest Project...

Well actually it belongs to my friend Andy, who spend a few nights helping me out with my car where he could.. and it was his 21st yesterday, so I best sort out his car for him..

92 ( i think) pug 106xsi with 106 gti engine in..

I started fitting the engine over a year ago, and it never got finished.. and its now a mess by everybody having a go.. soon to be finished..

Rear

Rear

Front

Engine (just )

Why did someone think they needed to bend this to fit the engine?

Engine mounting falling off (Now seam welded )

Same as above

Going to put this on with a roller (3 litres of 2pack Miami Blue)

Delocking it..

Lock removed

Screw tack welded on to hold plate..

Screw snapped off and rest welded up

Side

Side

Front Panel removed..

You should be doing this during the day you could make a mint with the speed you work at!!

I'd certainly pay you to work on my car.. I am useless with a spray gun..

I would hope I do work fast on these, as I used to have one and know them inside out and backwards... what it doesnt show is that the passenger door is stripped of everything including glass, back window is out and most of the interior on the passenger side.

How about another peugeot project.....
Cousre the owner is the doing the strange bodywork thing himself...not my cup of tea.

fitting a peugeot 406 2.0 turbo engine ( yep petrol??? ) It will still be slow though im sure. Tho it has a pretty big intercooler.
Still all looks very messy, and it is. A very unfinished project at the minute.

David,

Do you do this obn a regular basis? My Golf has come to a standstill as I can't find anyone to throw some front inner wings & paint at it. I had somebody lined up and they let me down.

Mail me at my profile addy if you are interested, I am quite prepared to trailer the car to Leeds if necessary

Brave Boy!

Exactly what I'd love to do if I'd a garage and wasn't knackered every day.

Cheers
