Cool

Many people have done it I believe, I think DubSport are the people to contact, Gaz Jones (he of the cool purple looking MkI trackday beastie) knows them I think?

I have seen a load of them too, but everyone seems to be more interested in 20v turbo`s at the moment, i jus want that v6 noise and reliability!

Is possible. Yaash is the name of a VW specialist, they're in W London, Park Royal area, closer to Hanger Lane. They might be able to help. Look for a feature in Performance VW Magazine, approx 6 mths ago, of a silver 4 door MkII owned by a guy called Hitten. He's done exactly what you're thinking of. You might want to cross reference with 'Westside VW' an owners club consisting of a bunch of guys who, between them, have probably covered everything that's ever been done to a VW. There's some nice examples within this bunch, some of the best. Incidentally, my mate's just sold his G60 and is picking up a nice MkIV on sunday, running 302BHP (at flywheel)!!! Good luck.

S55DRJ: don't do it... please it's a classic... why not sell it and get a VR6 Corrado or a 1.8T Mk5 and tune it to oblivion.

Obviously it's up to you. But I just popped in here having been looking at second hand G60s for sale in Germany...

The VR6 apparently made them too front heavy. Why not go for a 1.8t and tune it?

Basically guys, i want to use it as a LHD daily driver, i`m not too exited about running a supercharged car, horror stories etc... so since i have the G60 sat there doing nowt and needing just a litte bit of tlc, i might as well make use of it. If your looking for a g60, i`d consider selling it i guess.
