Yep!

My tdi 130 could be superchipped to 175BHP and 300ftlb of torque.
The guy that does the superchip is running his at that! and its quick!

He was saying they got 200BHP out of a Tdi150

I wouldn't want to / believe any claims for more than 20% over the standard output from the 130 and 150PD. I reckon 155 and 185bhp is the sensible limit on these. It's all about mid-range torque anyway.

try dubsport or awesome gti, if you are in the north west, the chips range from £200-£400 depending on increase in power etc, I also believe jabba sport are quite good too, ask ian c with the skoda running 220+ bhp

gaz (on avis computer)

Jabbasport always get good comments on VW forums.

Abt in Germany are getting some serious power out of the PD engines.

Unhappy

Chris, in my opinion, within reason you get what you pay for. I believe that Upsolute are cheap for a reason. I tried an Upsolute chip on mine, it was on for about 2 days before it came off. Also it was not set up on a rolling road it was just put on and away you go. Quite astounding performance. 2000-3499 rpm about 25psi (IIRC) 3500-6000 rpm 16psi. You almost went through the windscreen with the 1 rpm difference between 3499 and 3500 as the boost didn't tail off, it just dropped. Also, IIRC, their website used to state that for every second that you used full boost you knocked 5km off engine life. Honest but doesn't bode well for longevity.

All in my opinion, and yes I have the figures and paperwork to back it up if required.

Hmmm.

Thanks for the info 'Tav. It's just like the Scooby market place. Needs some careful research to find what's safe and what's not.

Cheers.
