Ive got one coming at the end of the year. Your mate would need to be in the top three at his dealers to stand anychance of getting one. 250 dealers 750 cars.

Thumbs up

Saw one at the Ring at the weekend, and it looked superb.

Wilf

I guess you either believe the press or not. Listen to the press and the Cooper S is the best handling car you can buy. Own one and a 205GTI had a more stable back end when pushing on. Not really sure these journalists know what they are talking about.

My current Cupra R hasnt set the world on fire, but chasis wise it feels great to me and that is compared to a Cooper S and even STI 7.

IMHO there is no perfect car out there.

Jonathan

25 cars in the last 7 year and still searching for the perfect match.

Chins,

I dont disagree about getting an R32. Its gotta be a surefire depreciation beater. Torquey 3.2 sounds a cool prospect as well.

If I'm honest I would rather stick my money in one than a new WRX but perhaps not an STi - but I guess you've been there and done that

Isnt totally new shape Golf due in 2004?
