I don't know about the EV12 acceleration figures but the top speed was limited to 206mph, as Michelin would not guarantee the tyres for anything more. And that limit is not a soft limit, apparantly given a long enough bit of road it will bounce off that all day. without breaking sweat.
As for the SL55 AMG they have had to retune it for slightly more power, so it remains faster than the newly announced E55 AMG af which I have details. The SL55 now has 500bhp as does the S55 and CL55 versions. The E55 still has 476bhp but it should easily crack 200mph with the 155mph speed limiter removed. The SL55 did 202mph recently and the E55 is lighter and more aerodynamic. Just to let you know the OTR price for the E55 AMG is going to be £60,640 and is on sale in November.......
