I can get up to 50mpg in the MR2 on a cruise - unbelievable for a 175bhp 2 litre car Averages at least 30mpg with 50% normal/50% hard driving.

Yeah, I miss the great fuel economy of my 106 GTi, which was very good even when you nailed it and amazing if you drove normally (not even slowly), unlike this turbocharged fuel slurper!
Amazes me how good my mates Clio 172 is though...

Yeh i'm well impressed with the 172 as an everyday pocket rocket.
May buy the the new Clio Cup next year for the misses cause she really likes them, and i can borrow the keys.

Since its major service 3 months ago, my Audi S3 has averaged 34.3 m.pg.
Best was 38 m.p.g for a 160 mile trip from London (averaging 70 m.p.h.)
It will do over 40 m.p.g. on slow A roads.

Get ~20mpg in the skyline, used to get that in the scooby too, AND even driving a Citroen ZX diesel on my commute I still don't get more than 30mpg But I tend to drive the ZX on limiter on the 'private' motorway!
Have got the skyline down below 10mpg on occasion

My mate once calculated he was getting an amazing 7mpg!!!
This was in a modded EvoVI during a track day at Croft last year, where he used a LOT of fuel...
Was a lot better than that normally, thank God!

Saxo Boy -
Yeah, got 2 of them still and I'm using one of them daily at the moment.
That is actually cr@p on fuel and I get about 30mpg best case scenario and mid 20's normally, so I might as well have a Scooby!
Had the house for nearly a month now too and am now thinking about my next car, so have been looking about to see what I actually want.
How's the Scoob?!
