i was just wondering when insuring a kitcar do you get asked if there have been any modifications done to it ?? i was wondering if not would you have to tell them about nitrous and a turbo on a bike engine just wondering as it might come in handy

I believe that with kits, they don't care about tuning if you keep it normally aspirated. As you can put any old engine in, they just run on capacity. However, nitrous and/or a turbo would need to be mentioned.

Insurance on kits is ridiculous cheap anyway. Brother's 2 litre kit does 0-60 in 4.0, 0-100 in sub 10, yet costs <£200 a year to insure. Fun taking several seconds a lap out of any Elise on the track too.

yeah the quote i got for me was 320 on a mk indy blade im only 22 so its not bad
