Default Boot Opening Keys

Guys any of you ever had this issue with Keys, I keep swapping my cars as you know, and if i wear skinny jeans more often than not i sit down and open the bloody boot
Wifes clubman is a nightmare and today my X3 im sat in my home office Dad pops in and says ya boots open

Do i need to start wearing baggy pants

Anybody else had this LOL

Wish they would make a button inside that disable key or something

Are you sure it is the sitting down effect causing the problem - does your X3 have the comfort access thing or whatever BMW call it, where you wave your foot under the boot and it opens. I've read about pets (cats) passing by the car where the key is in proximity to the car, and the boot opens.

Not sure it would explain the clubman scenario though.

So wifes yes i agree the rear kick plate can be an issue
Mine doesn't have CA i asked for it not to be put on for doors only ignition

Wish they would make a button inside that disable key or something

Code it out with Bimmercode so it doesn't function from the key or has to be pressed for an eternity
