Default forgive me for i have sinned

As being part of the Subaru community for quite awhile now I thought it was time for a change and was perfect chance to scratch an itch I've had for a very long time,

Picked it up last weekend and can honestly say it is amazing (never thought I would say it)

Here it is 2007 IX FQ360

Out of the box they are epic in comparison to the majority of subarus, however they dont quite have the character of an Impreza.

As soon as I read the thread title, I knew it would be an Lancer Evolution . As much as I love Impreza's, I do view the Evo's as a more expensive grown up type of car.

I miss my Evo, it felt fast and always got positive admiration from young to old.

I'm torn about getting a white V or VI.

but...

Evo lads on MLR are having an hard time accepting my 300lbft Newage has just run 12.44 and 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds with wheelspinning 8yo budget tyres, low compression and a caliper piston sticking on. I think I'll keep the WRX, lol.

Its a weird one for me. I know the evo is the better car, but they do literally nothing for me whatsoever? I look at a nice Impreza and think "yes, that's nice". I look at a nice evo and think "evo"?

Lovely evo - looks very nice in red

I've got a 7RS daily driver, and an impreza in bits in the garage. The evo is a perfect family car IMO - even the boot is bigger than the impreza

Go back 12 Months and I literally couldn't stand them, my friend picked this up is September and come and picked me up and then I realised what all the fuss was about, twin scroll turbo so literally no lag and pulls hard up to the red line and out on track with cruddy tyres and standard suspension I couldn't keep up with him I had kw V3s, Good tyres, Good alignment but the car just wanted to understeer

Cracking car!

I came so close to pulling the trigger on a number of these over the years..... too similar to my SPEC C at the time though really.

Enjoy!

Superb looking carjust make sure you stay on top of the maintenance and make sure the paintwork is always waxed up all of the time,or that lovely red will turn pink pretty quick.SJ.

Scoobynet is so confusing

I like it I'd like to scale down and end up with the S202 and one of these

Thanks man

It's booked in with a friend to be mopped but have told him to go very easy with compounds as I've rubbed through the pink mirrors by hand 😂

The only thing which will cause to do any different is the AYC I'll do the oil myself like I always have with scoobys every 3-4K but I'll have to pay a specialist to do the 9k service 😩

I don't think that car was very well, when the friend I bought this off took me out it was totally different! Unfortunately it's not an MR though but I can live with that.
