Any UrQuattro drivers here?

As so very few remember this car, just wondering if any have driven one recently and have any comparative statments to make with new-gen cars? Autocar recently said a 20v was able to match the cross-county speed of the new Impreza sti.

Owned an early ur-q which was the WR engine (2144cc) rather than the later MB engine 2226cc which had torsen diffs.
Mine was a 1984 model. Owned it from 1995 to around 1998. Loved it to bits. Fab piece of kit.
Ownership wasn't problem free though (as you would expect on such a motor). Blew a turbo, and needed new valve stem oil seals when I sold it. Nothing **REALLY** **REALLY** major though.
Massive road presence ~ it was soooo wide and intimidating, and it had an exhaust note to die for. The Scoob sounds well, however the quattro on full song sounds fantastic Can't beat the warble of a 5 cylinder turbo at full chat.
The 90 litre fuel tank errr rather massive and was really worrying to fill ! Somewhat of a wallet bashing experience to say the least.
I can imagine the 20v would be awesome, in fact I'd love one.
aahhhhh my old beast... those were the days
