This is the farmer (T-uk used to post on here) who is rather better as he is naturally coordinated and has been drifting farmyard vehicles since he could talk. Look out for the crash

I would have had another go at the big corner but the tyres were about to pop I'll blame the earlier spins on them as I don't normally spin at those points. I prefer a bit more grip and consistency than this LOL.
It is a yellow 325ti, no pics handy to link. Have a yellow E46 M3 too, but no hydro in that and it is a bit nice for this track.

We're up in Fife and lucky to have three venues here: Knockhill, although the drifting there is pro stuff, Driftland as linked, and Crail raceway (old WW2 airfield) has drag, drift figure of 8 and big track/drift days. Not sure what you have near you.
Some of the English venues have fewer things to hit, but I'm good at repairing bumpers and replacing radiators now
I'm loving this as it gives you full size car control like you would struggle to develop except in karts otherwise and their lack inertia and steering make them natural to drift compared to a full weight car. Still wouldn't want powerful RWD as my road car though.

There is a series of bends (in the middle of nowhere really) on the way to where my gf used to live. They are down a country lane and all of a sudden the road goes from single track to double, perfect Tarmac and has a couple of lovely bends. It seems very odd that it's like this. Didn't take someone long to find it and you could regularly hear people out there drifting, the road would always be smothered in tyre marks. I never saw anyone there in months of driving that way and they'd operate after midnight hours. When you see the road you can understand where the temptation came from.

So you initiate the drift by just yanking on the spanner rather than inducing it with a flick of the wheel? The spanner seems to work ok though, just wondering.

Flick of the wheel can work, as can turning in on the brakes or booting it mid corner, but the hydro is great to use to really get it initiated early and then you can power through and try not to die.

The driftworks forum is your best place for advice mate. I've watched a fair bit of footage from Driftland, I'd love to go...but its just a bit too far for me really being in the midlands But on the whole I don't think you did too bad judging from that video.
I used to work for Driftworks so was always surrounded by drifting and had plenty of accessibility to cars etc, but since moving on and focusing more on work I've lost touch with it a bit. I'm hoping to get back into some pod days soon and buy a missile to share with my brother.
