Replacement car option for mum?

Replacement car option for mum?
Seen as its done to death on here (car options)
I thought I'd ask for your help here to narrow down a few potential cars to choose from.
Well my mum has a 59 plate focus titanium 5 Dr hatch manual petrol on 11k.
Now the issue is, my mum is getting old and finds it hard to drive manuals now.
So I did say to her to swap/sell and get an auto focus, maybe the newer shape. I'd like to find her a electronic handbrake one though. (But focus don't have it)
She's adamant in keeping the focus marque as she like it with the front heated windscreen etc etc.
The other option is the new shape Astra auto with elec handbrake.
Now I'd like your help to add what others have elec handbrake.
Requirments-
Must be focus type car (5 Dr hatch)
Petrol upto 1.6
Auto box
Electronic handbrake
2010 onwards
Cheers.

Friend of mine has a 2014 1.6 petrol focus with an auto box, maybe 3/4000 miles on it now. I've driven it too, terrible auto box. Rough/harsh gear changes, revs it's nuts off before changing even under light load etc. so fuel consumption is terrible. Would be worth test driving a couple first. I currently have 2014 Mondeo Titanium X diesel auto, different story all together. Much smoother box and is pretty good on fuel.

The focus auto don't do electric handbrake button hence asking what other cars have electric handbrake in a focus type size car.

She's only done 10k miles in 5 years so dosent get used much, just there when she needs it to pop to town/shops etc and drive with ease.
She has arthritis.
The Astra has elec handbrake, just wanted to know if any other cars of that size have it. My Audi A4 has it but too big and executive for her
Wonder if the newer a3 has it?

All I'll say is avoid the automated manual gearboxes (single clutch, not dsg etc).
That'll be: Easytronic for the Vauxhall and Sensodrive/ETG/EGS for Peugeot/Citroen.
Why? Bar the way they drive, they aren't reliable, and costly to put right. The Sensodrive wears its clutch out in less than 40K too.
So...how about a C-max? Focus underpinnings, just a bit taller..electrically heated front screen and some have a optional electric handbrake and auto option - might be difficult to find one with all that spec in one car with the right engine.

The c max is an option I suppose, didn't think about them tbh but yeah that's an option

My Mum (in her 70's) just sold her Golf GTD and bought a KIA Soul.
I wasn't that impressed that she bought a KIA but after looking around it and driving I'm pretty impressed with the car. It got loads of neat touches that make it easy to drive.

I'd ask here too:

HJ is a really good chap and he may know of some suitable cars that none of us have thought of. He usually gets back to you very quickly.
