Why, thank you.
And the car?
I was close to buying a coupe version but then saw this - the interior put me off when I saw the pics, but I changed my mind when I saw it.
Roadster is a little more forgiving on the road than the coupe, but as I'm advancing in years I reckon this will serve me better.
(And with the roof off its easier for me to get in and out )
Comes with a hard and soft top, has every option ticked bar the two-piece brakes (not needed anyway), and nearly 12 months old with just 1200 miles on it.
The roadster doesn't come with the rear spoiler or front splitter of the coupe, which I think gives it a more aggressive stance, but I can live with that...

This one is consistently timed below 4 secs, and the coupe I went in with an experienced driver I can well believe it.
No LSD either, and traction is pretty damn good. (It's also on normal Corsa tyres and not the cut slicks of the old car, which helps)
The torque is on another level compared to my old one - as it should be - but you can drive this so effortlessly if you want, or ***** out in the upper rev range.
The old one was ***** out ALL the time.

You've seen JC trying to get into one haven't you? Well it wouldn't be that much prettier seeing me doing the same (because of height, not because I have a big beer gut like him!).

Yeah, I'm not really the right size for these little things - it's a bit like driving a shoe.
But if the car's good enough I'll get in it somehow!
Tbh, my Boxster was a bit too snug and the Exige, once I'm in, has slightly more room due to the tiny steering wheel and lack of lower dash.
Told myself that this'll be my last unconventional car...
I'll have to be sensible one day.

I doubt you'll ever have a convential car. Too boring and run of the mill. You like your quirky, characterful cars with a bit of pizzazz.

My uncle sold his Boxster because he was simply too fat for it!
I'd struggle to choose between the M3 and the Exige (I can't understand why it's not called an Elise!) for fun back road hoons.

I've just been out in the M3 - by eck' it gives a good thump in the back in Sport+ using the paddles!
How quick it gets to scary/silly/illegal speeds is just....scary.
The Exige (or 'Elige' if you like ) will give the same oomph but it'll be nice to use a normal stick for changing gears.
They're going to be similar cars speed wise, but also very different I feel....
Maz, your quite correct but there comes a time in ones life when you have to think of others.
Fortunately that time hasn't come *just* yet
