New C63 AMG- 510BHP!
510 BHP for the S model. I'm enjoying my 'old' C63 AMG with just 457 BHP, but another 50 BHP, more torque AND less weight should make for a very interesting car.

I wonder how long it will be before we see 4wd ones in the UK, not sure if I would actually wont a 4wd drive one but may not have a choice in the future.

Just not the same as the 6.2 V8 - that was pound for pound the best sounding engine as standard. Not keen on the looks either - seems more audi.
Not a massive hike in power as the outgoing C63 ended with the Section 507.

I'd still have the jag xfrs over the Merc or a bm anyday, driven them all and find the jag one of the nicest places to be, and the v8 in them are pretty hardy lumps.
Not too harsh a ride on the big wheel with skinny tyre combo, everything is where it should be and within reach of the driver, nice comfy seats with the carbon leather and a load more to boot as standard options over the Merc and the BM.
Plus the added bonus of 550hp with similar torque output makes for a very rampant car.
Not everyone's cup of tea I suppose but if I was spending the amount of money these cars are I would seriously consider the jag, and the new XE version looks another nice addition.

What I find funny about the xfr is as good a car that it is the steering is so devoid of feedback, just ruined it for me. Shame as the engine is awesome (would be even more awesome if had a proper manual gearbox option).
That, and the silly oversights like the fog lamp switch; I mean they spent so much time creating gimmicky/geeky/pointless air vents and gear selectors, then go and hide switches where you can't see them

Funny thread the other day on the MBClub forum, someone posted a question as to whether to buy a new F Type or a new SL.... bear in mind this was on a Merc forum.... the Jag won the day by about 75% of the vote Seems they are doing something right at Jaguar

I just couldnt see myself driving/owning a Jag no matter how good it was, and yes you could call it badge snobbery(even for a Jag), must be a under 35 years old thing, Ive always seen Jags as a old mans car that my dad would drive, but saying that over the last few years they have been coming out with some stonking cars especially the R range cars, maybe as time goes on that image of a owning a Jag for the younger generation will change.
That new C63 S AMG to me is just stunning, If I come in to a large amount of money anytime soon id be straight down the Merc dealer in a heart beat to buy one, as it ticks everything that I would need in a car!!!

I have been in some quick cars in my time and I must say the jag xfrs is up there with them all, for a big car that will comfortably seat 4 and as heavy as they are it fly's and after being In one for a spin I don't think there is much on the road that could beat it including the amg.
